The first two phases of this home remodel were undertaken with family in mind. A bathroom was added to a refreshed bedroom and a new guest/bonus room addition with rooftop deck was designed to unite in a comfortable space for visiting parents and to accommodate extended stays.

However, the third phase excited the homeowners the most – a new cooks kitchen and master suite overlooking the lush and secluded backyard. The kitchen was constructed with extra, industrial functions that are hidden behind custom shaker-style Blumotion soft close drawers and cabinets and beneath Cape Cod Gray Sequel Quartz and Bono Granite slab countertops. A mixer shelf emerges to aid in heavy appliance lifting and a vent rises from the Bertazzoni gas and Schott Ceran induction tops when cooking. Secreted walk in pantry, under-stool drawers, multilevel blind corner cabinet pull-outs and a mudroom bench do heavy duty work while looking streamlined and effortless. The kitchen is finished with a Dal Cepac LA White Gloss Lantern backsplash, island water dispenser and wine fridge.

After entertaining in the kitchen, the heated floors and walk in shower with infinity drain and curbless entry in the master bath beckon. Patterened tile and stone line the walls and floors, enveloping the relaxing, deep bathtub. The perfect place to end the day with a relaxing glass of wine.
